Wandering Owl

A small-group Arctic tour operator in its twelfth season, running its own guided aurora hunts and snowshoe walks with its own guides. Wandering Owl started in Tromsø and brought the same idea to Levi: small groups, real-time aurora forecasts rather than a fixed route, and thermal gear and hot food included so the cold is not the thing you remember. They hold Travelife eco-certification. Every tour leaves from the village and goes out into the forest and frozen lakes north of it.
